The Network+ program is designed for entry-level computer support professionals to increase your knowledge of networking concepts and acquire the skills to progress to a career in network support or administration. Primary learning objectives include defining basic networking concepts including network services, physical connections, topologies and architecture, and cloud connectivity; describing routing technologies and networking devices; deploying ethernet solutions and configuring wireless technologies; monitoring and optimizing networks to ensure business continuity; applying security concepts to protect networks against threats; and troubleshooting common cable, connectivity, and software issues related to networking. Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to sit for the Network+ credential exam offered by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).
