« back to classes page
Are you part of a virtual team?  More and more businesses are going global and more professionals are working from home.  Businesses are increasingly relying on virtual teams, or telework, to accomplish their team goals and team member objectives. While even occasional telework offers flexibility, increased job satisfaction, and higher productivity, serving on virtual teams also comes with a number of challenges that, if not addressed, can undermine goals, relationships, and team effectiveness. This course identifies the characteristics of a successful teleworker, the personal benefits of teleworking, why teleworking makes sense, how to stay focused with self-motivation hacks, how to stay motivated despite periodic loneliness, the best way to communicate with your virtual team members, and how-to's for improving information flow.
