YUM! You will become familiar with common Chinese ingredients such as: rice, bok-choy, and tofu. You will also have a chance to work with unfamiliar ingredients such as bitter melon, lotus roots and bamboo shoots. Skills like stir frying, braising different traditional dishes, deep frying and steaming various vegetables using a wok and various Chinese cooking utensils will be taught. In the final class, as a small celebration we will even make our own bubble tea!
