FL Baking 101 (6th-9th)

Have you ever dreamed of being a pastry chef or maybe you just want to learn how to bake? This basic baking class will help you achieve those dreams. You will learn the chemistry behind what makes baking a true science. Join us in making cakes from scratch and decorating them, learning how to make yeast rolls, cookies, pies, and quick breads such as biscuits and muffins. This academy will cover basic food safety principles, knife usage, safety in the kitchen and basic food preparation.  This is a parent-child class.


Day 1: Funfetti Cookies, Garlic Knots Dough
Day 2: Strawberry Pie, Finish Garlic Knots, Quick Tomato Sauce
Day 3: Doughnut Muffins, Cheddar Biscuits
Day 4: Hawaiian Roll Dough, Cream Puffs
Day 5: Oreo Cheesecake, Finish Hawaiian Rolls, Whipped Honey Butter
