How many ways are there to join wood to build a cabinet, bookcase or other piece of furniture? You'll find out in this joinery exploration class. Start with the function of the piece and consider your options for a solid and simple design. Apply these skills to your projects that you began in Woodworking I. Tuition includes general shop materials (glue, sandpaper, finishes, etc.) and use of tools in the R.W. Miller workshop in Faber (Nelson County). Additional charge for lumber. Additional charges may apply for any time required to complete your project beyond the scheduled class time. Prerequisite: Woodworking I.
