Remote Pilot Airman - Part 107 (FF)

Designed to provide operator training in using unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in commercial operations including precision agriculture, aerial imagery and cinematography, construction, inspection and aerial surveys. Two days of classroom training covering complete Part 107 coursework.  Topics include regulatory requirements of 14 CFR part 107, operating rules of 14 CFR part 107, registration rules of 14 CFR part 48, regulatory waivers, airspace classifications  and operational requirements, effects of weather on performance, loading and performance, radio communications, airport operations, emergency procedures, aeronautical decision-making, physiological factors, maintenance and inspection procedures.
After completing this class, you will be able to take the FAA Remote Pilot Airman Certification Part 107 test and be vetted by TSA to receive the Remote Pilot Airman Certification which is required to legally operate a drone for non-hobby activities. Note: TSA may include a criminal background check.
