« back to classes page
Motors, gears and wheels make the world go ‘round! In this Makers Lab, you will use creative engineering to design and build vehicles that use gears, pulleys, wheels and small motors. With a focus on mechanisms and basic physics, this Maker Lab is great for those who love engineering, design and science. Maker Lab academies are instructor guided, project-themed focused and student self-directed. They are best suited for students that have the ability, self-control and desire to work in a more independent, problem-solving environment. Special opportunity for two-week projects: Students enrolled in the July 22-26 academy will have the opportunity to create either a one week or two-week project. If you enroll in the following week (July 29-Aug, 2), you may continue working on your project for an additional week.
