Required Advanced Imaging Clinical Compliance Pre-Screening Course for the Advanced Imaging Add-on Clinical Experience for students in the MRI or Computed Tomography (CT) Fundamentals and Applications On-Demand Courses seeking a clinical placement.

This free prescreening course is designed for current or prior MRI or CT students who want to pursue a clinical placement through the Advanced Imaging Add-on Clinical Experience to ensure eligibility for a clinical placement with PVCC's affiliated partners. Once you add the Advanced Imaging Clinical Compliance Pre-Screening Course to your cart and complete the course registration, you will receive an email notification with instructions to access your Canvas account to provide verification of placement eligibility. Please review the following required documentation and anticipated costs you will incur.

Upfront requirements include:
  • Background check, drug screen, and compliance tracking (approx. $215)
  • Trajecsys clinical tracking subscription (1-year, $100)
  • Current BLS CPR certification (approx. $100)
  • Proof of immunizations and physical exam (cost varies by insurance)
  • Virginia state license if certified in Radiography, CT, or Radiation Therapy ($130–$180)
  • Meeting all essential functions and technical standards
  • Completion of program and clinical orientation prior to placement
Ongoing expectations:
  • Maintain full compliance throughout the clinical experience
  • Be prepared for exposure to infectious diseases and other medical hazards
  • Demonstrate safe patient care, communication, and professional conduct

You will be asked to provide additional information as detailed in the Canvas course for eligibility purposes. Once your eligibility has been determined, your instructor will provide next steps for registering for the Advanced Imaging Add-on Clinical Experience.
