FastForward Financial Assistance Pre-Screening

This short online assessment is the first step to determine your eligibility to receive financial assistance for FastForward programs offered by PVCC Workforce Development. Eligibility is based on Virginia Domicile status, household income, and other factors.

Please follow these steps to complete the Pre-Screening.
1. Click ‘Add to Cart’
2. Login or Create a New Profile
3. Complete all questions.
***BEFORE YOU BEGIN***
If applicable, you will be asked to provide your Selective Service Registration Number.
    Confirm your registration here: https://www.sss.gov/verify/ 
 
4. View your cart in the upper right hand screen and complete the checkout process. 
5. When you reach the ‘Transaction Processed Screen’ your pre-screening information has been received.

NEXT STEPS: Document Submission
To complete your application for financial assistance. Check your email or the link in the pre-screening confirmation or click here to complete a short form. This form will generate a secure location to submit documents needed to verify your information or correct your application. You will receive the document upload link and instructions in an automatic email.

CURRENT FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES:
 
  • Get Skilled, Get a Job, Get Ahead (G3) initiative provides an opportunity for any Virginian to prepare for high-demand careers and earn an industry-recognized credential. G3 provides need-based tuition assistance for eligible applicants and pays 1/3 of tuition for select FastForward programs.
  • Financial Aid for Noncredit Training leading to Industry Credentials (FANTIC) Grant provides need-based tuition assistance for students enrolling in a workforce training program leading to an industry-recognized credential or licensure. FANTIC provides need-based tuition assistance for eligible applicants and pays 1/3 of tuition for select FastForward programs.
