Exploring Skilled Trades Through Metal Art for New Welders is a hands-on career exploration workshop designed for individuals interested in learning about art, welding, advanced manufacturing, and skilled trades careers. Participants will receive basic instruction in welding safety, equipment operation, and introductory welding techniques while creating a simple metal art project.
The workshop also introduces participants to career opportunities in art, welding, fabrication, advanced manufacturing, and related skilled trades. Participants will learn about local workforce demand, industry-recognized credentials, educational pathways, and employment opportunities available.

The workshop is designed to build confidence, develop awareness of career possibilities, and encourage enrollment in art, welding, advanced manufacturing, and skilled trades programs.
