This class will provide a broad overview of the cider making process for the home producer or the professional beginner. Topics covered will include selecting apple varietals,small scale pressing, inoculation and management of yeast, malolactic fermentation, fining/stabilization, and a sensory session with in-process ciders. Must be 21 years of age to register. Class held at Potter's Craft Cider Production Facility, 4699 Catterton Road, Free Union, VA 22940.
