Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to sit for the Certified EKG Technician (CET) credential exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

This is a FastForward Program: FastForward programs are short-term training courses for industry credentials in high-demand jobs. Funding may be available to offset the tuition cost for individuals who meet eligibility requirements. Funding is limited and therefore distributed on a first-come, first-come basis.

WCG Grant: Eligible Virginia residents may pay only one-third (1/3) of the full tuition cost. To qualify, you must meet the Virginia domicile requirements. Virginia "domicile" means you have lived in Virginia and intended to stay here indefinitely for at least one year before the date of application.

G3/FANTIC Initiative: The G3 and FANTIC programs makes it possible for Virginians with low or modest income to pursue jobs in high-demand fields. Funding covers an additional 1/3 of the course tuition.

Program Pricing:
  • Regular/Full Price: $1800
  • FastForward Price: $600
  • FastForward plus G3 Price: $0
